Two years ago on a mystical full moon on January 11, 2017 Arizona Bell and Morgan Garza launched Spirit Guides Magazine into the Universe from the energetic land of Sedona, Arizona. They had no idea how this digital magazine would change lives forever, or how much they would learn on such an epic, authentic level—about the Universe all around us, and the spaces in between. THE MISSION OF SPIRIT GUIDES MAGAZINE As spirituality makes its way more and more into mainstream consciousness, the intention is to be the modern voice for ancient wisdoms. They want to make spirituality accessible and remind each person of their own power, truth, divinity, innate spirituality, and personal magic. Travel to and through the self, and through the world at large, is also a main focus of Spirit Guides Magazine. With a tagline “new maps for old souls,” they literally want to give the reader the maps to discover them self and the world around them by following their own inner compass. Through digital articles, their podcast, a spiritual directory, and in-person events, it is their hope to feed and expand the minds of all. Over the past two year they have also realized that Spirit Guides is much more than a digital magazine. They have seen this digital magazine become a hub for spirituality—for the curious, the expert, and the skeptic. It is their mission to fuel this evolution and to allow Spirit Guides to become what it and the Universe want it to become. She’s got a mind of her own, and what a beautiful mind it is! They will be continually evolving, as that is what nature intended. Arizona is a dual citizen of Germany and America, Arizona’s first overseas airplane flight was in the womb—setting her up for a lifetime of wanderlust. Spiritual exploration came fiercely in her early 20s and since then she has been gradually shifting her spiritual purpose closer and closer to the nucleus of her life. Three years ago, following the transition of her mother, Arizona hit the rock bottom necessary to propel herself to fearless new heights. Today, her many years as a writer, editor, traveler, and seeker, have prepared her to launch the project of her dreams. Spirit Guides Magazine, a publication whose only purpose is to help people find themselves within themselves—to be a lighthouse for those in dark waters—is a dedication to her mother, Maria Houstoun, who alone gave her wings and showed her how to use them.
